labview 2010 no device found

I am upgrading a windows XP 32 bit lab to a Windows 7 64 bit Enterprise lab using Tektronix TDS1012C-EDU Scopes. When I launch LabView 2010 the software cannot find the scopes and display a message "No devices found". The scopes show up in device manage and in windows devices. I am have upgraded to the latest version of NI-Visa and installed all the critical updates for Labview 2010. The scopes are connected via a USB connection. I contacted Tektronix and they had me upgrade the bios in the scopes. Still nothing. Any help is welcome.

Do you have National Instruments Measurement and Automation Explorer installed (if you installed the NI drivers it should have been)? If yes, look to see if it can see the instruments, and if it does, see if the names or aliases are what is expected in your program. Of course, if the USB are being used as serial ports adapters then you may not see them. If they are, then quite possibly the settings or comm port associations have changed.

Lets see what happens if I shake the 8-Ball, Sometimes it works
~~~~~~~~Oh 8-Ball ~~~~~~~~
Is the OP using the IVI driver without the IVI compliance package? http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.model_page?p_model_id=18782
(Whats up with links Jordan?)
Thanks.. I cannot see the scope in any National Instruments product. The connection is not serial to USB but USB 2.0 direct. I installed the IVI compliance package when I upgraded NI-VISA.
Interesting,
The USB port is for a data storage device on the TDS 1012.  It does NOT support remote access to the device.   Do you have the TDS2CMAX accessory installed?  That would allow remote operation via RS-232 and GPIB on this model
Hey Jeff,
Are you having issues with links? It looks like you were able to successfully create a hyperlink.
Jordan.
My appologies, it's not ALL on your end.  I Kicked off a new contract (Again) and apparently don't have the latest and greatest flash player.  Of course, if the warning didn't show up Way Way Down off the screen
it would be easier to find
