labview 2023q1can't write data to excel

i copy a prgrame write by labview 2018, it can run this promram normally , it can storage the data to excel, but when i move it to 2023 labview , it can run , but i can't find the file in the right path

Some questions (and I don't mean to be silly, nor to insult your intelligence ...).

• Are you running on a PC?  What Operating system?
• Can you open Excel, create a very simple WorkSheet, then save it using the same Path you are specifying in your LabVIEW example?  [This tests that Excel more-or-less works].
• Have you tried any of the Excel examples?  I wrote one and posted it to the Forums about a decade ago, but it still seems to work.  You can find it by searching on this Forum using "Revised Excel " and it should pop up.  Its full name is Revised "Generate Excel Report" Example.
• Can you test just writing a simple Text file using a similar Path as in your example (just to be sure that File I/O is working)?

Another thing you can do is to open your VI, go to "Save for Previous Version", and specify LabVIEW 2019 or LabVIEW 2021.  Many of the more experienced LabVIEW people on the Forum do not update to the most recent edition of LabVIEW every year (myself, included).

ok, i will try this basic excel operating first, this is a new computer, maybe it is this system problem or office excel problem.

open the "NI License Manager" and looking if you already licensed the "LabVIEW Report Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office" on Labview 2023.

when you installed the new Labview, you might missing to move license over to new labview version or if you use communicate version, you might miss this addon.

labview 2023with win10system，can't storage the excel file。but use 2018 of labview，It can work normally。

Can you post the screenshot of "NI License Manager"?
on my machine cannot use command to read or write the excel file as well but I know why.

I do not install the excel addon.
