labview 8.5 /generatespecfile not working

i am trying to make a silent install for labVIEW 8.5 however whenever i use the /generatespecfile parameter on the setup exe a pop up comes up saying Invalid command line parameters. any help on this matter is helpful.

i have read through that documnet and it still wont work. here is the code i am using

 

cd T:\virtual_dvd_location

setup /generatespecfile k:\labview_specfile.txt

I don't see anything wrong with your syntax. The only thing that I can think of is that there may be a hiccup in trying to reference files on a virtual optical drive. You can determine if this is the issue by moving the files to the c: drive and trying this process again.
