I know I need the GNU C Libraries to run the RTE (in my case 2011) on Linux. But I have noticed something. If I wish to install the RTE from the Developer DVD, it also install NIWebPipe (or something like that) and gives me an issue saying libzip is not on my machine. However, when I install the RTE from just the .tar file available online, I have no such issue. Am I better off being safe than sorry and just putting the libzip files on my Linux server?
