lock in amplifier start up kit question

Hello!

I would like to implement the lock-in amplifier start up kit (version 8.5).  I understand that there is a developer kit for the LIA available, and have checked it out; however, it is incompatible with my equipment.

I have a measurement computing usb 1608fs card that I am using for for digital to analog conversion, which has a max sample rate of 16000 hz for two channels (signal and reference).  I am certain it has the dynamic range given the signal/noise ratio in my system.  The signal I am trying to lock in on is between 5 and 10 hz.

However, the lock-in amplifier by labview refuses to work at under 50KHz sample rate, so I am at an impasse.  I could put one together myself, but I wanted to see if there were any options available to me; no point in reinventing the wheel.

Thanks in advance,

MB

thanks,

We should continue with the other one.

Please am designing an instrument to measure the chemical concentration of unknown soultions based on the principle of absorption using an ATR Probe. Forget about the long topic, the design framework is simple, it entails an LED which send light through an optical path through the solution and the voltage readings, is captured using an oscilloscope which potrays the absorbance, Now this the deal, the LED is powered by a signal generator and the signal has been modulated a square wave. I want to use a Lock in amplifier using Labview, to lock in the signal sent by the LED which is 630nm. I am trying to down load the lock in amplifier tool kits, but am having difficulties with that. The DAQ am using to collect the voltage signals is a USB 6008. Please I need urgent help.

Hi ubongakpabio,

This is an old forum post, so I would reccommend that you create a new forum post with your question because it is most likely to get responses. However,  the Lock-in Ampliier is not availble any longer available. This code was created many years ago and posted to ni.com for free, public use.  Despite its name, it was never an official NI Toolkit, and we have removed the toolkit from the web. The link below though does contain some Lock-in Amplifier files that you could download.
