ni max is missing USB device

Device manager shows the USB Devcie and connected, but it is missing in NI MAX. this is in windows 10, Labview 2020, 64 bit.

You probably don't have the LabVIEW drivers needed to communicate with the device. What device are you working with? (manufacturer / model)

Does the USB connection to the device appear as a virtual Com port?

not . It appears as a USB Test and Measurement Device (IVI) in device manager.

You may need to install Keysight drivers, have you installed those? From a quick search, it looks like you might need:

 

IO Libraries Suite : 

  • Enables instrument communication for a variety of development environments (MathWorks MATLAB, Python, NI LabVIEW, Microsoft Visual Studio and more).

RF Power Meter Drivers
