"Which version of animated GIF is compatible with Labview 6.1"

I am trying to create a boolean control which displays a static image when in the OFF state and a rotating fan on the ON stage.

When I tried to copy an animated GIF of a moving fan from Internet Explorer and paste the fan on the control during the on State, the image displayed is static and not animated.

Please advise on the proper procedure to copy and past animated GIF to ensure that they remained animated on custom controls. What should be the application to carry out the copy and paste.

I believe the key is to use the Import Image... menu item from the Edit
menu. The GIF will then be on the clipboard, and paste it on the panel.
If that works fine, go into the control editor, switch to detail
mode and Import the graphic
.

It is the LabVIEW Edit menu you use. I tried to find the selection in IE.
