i have read the disscusions they all say that the ethernet drivers are not correctly installed ...i have installed them again they seem to be working ok in XP but when i run the evaluate test from the usb disk utility it gives only one error system state: IP stack Confriguration Error

Reinstalling the XP driver will not help in LV RT. LV RT has its own drivers, but only a limited set of ethernet chipsets is supported. See requirements document here.

By the way, what file system do you use? NTFS is not supported by LV RT. You will have to use FAT32. Again, check the requirements document.

Hope this helps,

Daniel

i just keep getting this " Broadcom 57xx Ethernet  "... error ..it gets intialized but " no devices found " ..why is that ..???

Loading Ethernet Drivers:
 Intel 8255x Ethernet initialized successfully
 Intel 8254x Ethernet initialized successfully
 Broadcom 57xx Ethernet   initialized successfully

Finding devices for Ethernet drivers:
Error! No supported network devices found. A network adapter with
a supported Ethernet chipset is required

Starting up IP Stack.... failed.
Unable to configure the primary network device

System state: IP Stack Configuration Error
