recording single data while continuously logging and monitoring the data acquired from TCP/IP server

Hi,

I am trying to get the data from the server using TCP/IP. Get the data is not the problem. 

But I need help recording a single data when I press a button (something like taking a baseline)

Once this value is recorded, I move on to next stage where I record the data from testing.

Any help is appreciated.

How do you want to save the data? You've got numerous options - text, tdms, etc. All have examples that come with LabVIEW and countless examples on the forum. Show what you have tried and explain your difficulties.
