I inadvertently installed an addon when installing LabVIEW 2017 when installing software on a replacement computer. I didn't need the addon but have not figured out how to remove it. This should be a simple process but I am not seeing the option. Any help would be appreciated.

NIPM Installeth, so NIPM can Taketh Away. LabVIEW 2017 was the first version of LabVIEW that used NIPM as an Installer, and also an "Uninstaller". The safest way to go (in my opinion) would be to do a complete removal of all NI Software and then re-install the version that you want to run, without any Modules, Toolkits, or Drivers that you don't need. It is much easier to add something that you find you need than to remove something you installed by mistake.

(Been there, done that. I've done probably a dozen installations featuring LabVIEW 2021 before I "got the trick right".)

I agree. NIPM is just a bit overaggressive when it comes to uninstalling dependencies along with the actual product. I've found that any time I wanted to uninstall some small addon, it wanted me to pretty much uninstall LabVIEW and all its components as well, so you may as well uninstall everything anyway and reinstall what you want.
