I have now installed the new LV 2012 DS2, but my right click isn't quite the same as it used to be. It is just me?
The right click menu cannot be dismissed with the same right mouse button, I have to use the left mouse button. This doen't sound like a lot but every time I try to select something, I have to think why it isn't working then use the left button. Every action takes double the amount of time 😞

Hi Ed
Are you referring to opening and closing the controls and functions palettes on LabVIEW?
As far as I am aware, LabVIEW 2011 and previous versions of LabVIEW behave in much the same way. When you right click to bring up the respective palettes on either the Front Panel or Block Diagram, you will need to left click the mouse to close the palette or select a control or function.
You may want to consider pinning the palettes to the Front Panel/Block Diagram so that you do not need to right click each time to bring them up. To do this, bring up the palettes by right clicking the Front Panel/Block Diagram and left click the top left hand corner of the palette dialogue box where a small pin-like icon can be seen.
Let me know how this works for you or if I have misunderstood anything.
Thanks

I don't think it's just you.

Hi Ben, I mean the right click menu, rather than the palette set.
On all previous versions that I have installed, menu items can be selected with the right mouse button.
EDIT:
Thanks, Tim. I didn't think to check LAVA

Is this undesirable behaviour for more than just me? Any chance of a CAR?

I think it would be for me, but I'm not using 2011. (I can't tell which button I normally use when I'm actually paying attention to which one I'm clicking, but I think it's the right)

Hi Ed
Thanks for the clarification.
I will look into the reason why this has changed and will get back to you once I know more.
Thanks
Ben

Hi Ed
I am currently in the process of raising a CAR for this issue but will let you know the outcome as soon as I know.
Thanks
