Hi Dirk,

Do you mean to say that Keithley no longer supports that piece of hardware? If so, does Keithley at least have a download or support center where you can find legacy drivers and maybe figure out by yourself how to use them? Hopefully they should have something that they can give you, if not an alternative piece of hardware that they support and can get the job done.

Hello Dirk,

I only have a self-written driver for the 485 ammeter.
But it seems Keithley used the same hardware for all kind of devices from that time. All of them have the same command set (I know of the 193/196/220/230/485/705/706 devices). So its pretty easy to write your own driver by using the GPIB commands, even with LV3.1.1.
If you need the commands for a 485, I might look for the command set, but I would prefer to send you an email with this informations.

Best regards,
GerdW

Since there does exist a LabVIEW 6.0 version of the driver, what I would suggest that you do is download the evaluation version of LabVIEW 7, open the VIs in there, and then manually recreate them in LabVIEW 3.1.1. There is no way to use a more modern version of LabVIEW to save to such an older previous one. And why'll you're at it, you get to play with a version a LabVIEW that's a huge improvement over the one you've got now.
