sensor mapping in labview 8.6

good morning all,

How can we convert an autocad (dwg file) into stl format to use for  sensor mapping in labview 8.6.Please if anybody knows help me in sorting out this point.

Please explain about the NI artsglossary where we can get the images in labview 8.6

Hi

You need to convert the drawing to .stl . It's easier if you use Autodesk Inventor.  Once you hace drawn ,you need to save it in SAVE AS, then a new window is going to appear. In the bottom of the window you will have all the configurations to save your draw. You only need to choose the .stl extension.
