sensors compatibility

Hello everyone, my name is Santosh and i am from India doing my graduation in mechanical engg and currently in my final year. Our final year group is based upon labview. We are going to use simple ultrasonic sensors and a small servo motor for the project. We will be using   NI USB 6009 for data aquisition, we had a question in our mind as to how to know whether that sensor and motor is compatible with the DAQ card. We all are novice, so kindly help us in our query. Any help will be really helpful for us.

What kind of output you are looking from sensor i.e... Voltage or current etc. If you want to read the analog data from sensor into labview, you probably connect the output terminals of sensor to USB6009 analog channel. I recommend you to look some examples in labview. Type DAQmx in examples and just have a look at the examples.
