stand alone application (exe) not found in Build specifications

hi all,

I have installed labview professional 2017 on an off-line stand alone computer(no internet connection).

I activated the license.

I opened a new blank project and when I press right click on "Build Specifications"->"new" - I see only "Source distribution" tab.

 I don't see all other possibilities. like exe or installer and ect...

can anyone point on what can fix this?

is the AppBuilder activated?

Did you check the NI LicenseManager?

I am kind of new in labview.

when I open the NI LicenseManager I can see that the " Professional Development System" in activated in green.

under "Add-ons" I see "Application Builder" it seems like it is not in my package, because it is an add-on.

do I have to have it?

Hi Eliran,

you have to activate the AppBuilder too before you can use it.

Usually the license for the PDS includes the license for the AppBuilder:

you are correct.

when I installed labview I got activation code for labview , but I didn't receive activation code for the add-ons

apparently you also need to receive activation code for the AppBuilder

and all the add-ons.

after you activate them also. you can see all the properties of the "Build specifications"

Not necessarily. If you have a license for LV Professional, you can just leave the AppBuilder field empty, and only fill the LabVIEW license field. The app builder will get activated automatically.
