uninstall application builder

I have the same issue, however it is preventing me from launching labview 2010 at all. It is asking for the development system and application builder serials to activate, however I never asked to install them, nor do i want or need them. In the licence manager, the only option is to activate, not deactivate. How do I launch labview?

Hi,

The application builder is in the evaluation period and you can use it as you want. 30 days after the installation the application builder will be not longer available on the system and you will not see any message.

Thank you for your reply. I'm not sure I made myself clear.

the application builder IS past the 30 day trial, and subsequently WILL NOT allow labview to launch. 

Am I correct in thinking there is no uninstaller for the app builder? I have already uninstalled all NI software and reinstalled only labview 2010 but this had no effect.

Agree with OP. Installation of the App evaluation should be an optional at installation. Removal of it shoudl be available at any time. It is not a BONUS if you dont' want it - it's a burden; minor, granted, but one nonetheless.

Same problem here. I want to uninstall application builder, but don't know how to do it. Any solution to this problem yet?

-I still have two days until "trial" (which I didn't want) will expire, I hope this won't make my Labview installation useless too.

I'm in the same situation. I have a licensed Full package, and an unlicensed Application Builder that's expired, and I can't get rid of that annoying popup window when I start LabVIEW. I guess it's NI's way of annoying you into forking over $1100 to activate the App Builder.

Sorry to answer an old thread but just in case anyone else has this issue!

Navigate to C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\License Manager\Licenses
Find the license called "LabVIEW_AppBuilder_PKG_170000" or similar
Move this license out of the folder.

As long as it is not in this directory NI License Manager will not "find" the license. Deleting will have the same effect but I'd keep it somewhere just in case you want to activate it in the future.

Thanks a lot. This worked! It is a shame, that this issue still exists in 2024 (OK, I'm using LabVIEW 2019, so maybe a bit outdated).

BTW: If you can't see the ProgramData folder, just use "%PROGRAMDATA%" instead.
