Why do you need a folder of exactly this size?
Which toolkits/modules are you missing?
What happens when you instal some stuff and end up with 340MB or 375MB instead of 350MB???

And from where?
From your installation CDs. LV7.1 was delivered with a booklet of several CDs…

No , I mean A/q to a reply here LabVIEW 7.1 is 350 mb in size full, but on my pc 7.1 installed plain is just 275 megs in size. So what tools or stuff I need to install more to get 350 mb size? And from where?
Oh my... Driver, tools and addons are NOT determined by disk size but by the requirements of your software project. Maybe you don't need anything. YOU are charged to know what you need.

No problem I want it higher than 300 megs..you tell me what toolkit/drivers I need to install...the 7.1 I have doesn't even have ni max ,what version of ni max,daq etc comes with 7.1..What space will all 7.1 Cds acquire if installed?

Again: what do you miss? What do you need?
It doesn't make sense to install "something" just to use more than 300MB disk space…

A reply on this forum says most basic LabVIEW 7.1 installation uses 350 mb space, while on my pc 7.1 folder uses only 275 mb, so I'm speculating what I'm missing on.you tell, I'm really frustrated..

I dont get your frustration: you should know what you are missing when you open your source code.
Is there anything you miss in your daily work?
It (still) doesn't make sense to install something you don't miss so far just to use more disk space…

You say, most basic LabVIEW 7.1 installation uses 350 mb space, while on my pc 7.1 folder uses only 275 mb, so I'm speculating what I'm missing on.you tell, I'm really frustrated!

As long as your source code is executable you don't miss anything in your installation…

I just downloaded lv 7.0 driver cd iso file worth 520mb from NI ftp ,it contained drivers like NiDaq,Ni visa,Ni 488.12,DAQMx, MAX software all catered to LV 7.0 from 2003, but My 7.1 installation wizard detected it as driver CD and installed all drivers now occupying total of 320 mb space. I mean it's written for 7.0, how 7.1 is comfortable with it and installatiom just increased 50 mb space while CD is 500 + mb????

lv 7.1 install wizard detect 7.0 drivers CD and installed all drivers from 2003, but why my LabVIEW 8.2 isn't detecting it as drivers CD?
Also no "install drivers" prompt or option is available in 8.2 wizard,it just install LabVIEW software plain .!
