variant to data error

hey,
i'm trying to read values from excel to lv.... i found these two example....but there is some source-sink error at the variant to data node...
can some1 plz look thru

also ne suggestions on how to read data from an open excel file to which values are cont appended will b very helpful

DiPS,

I cannot see your files as they require a login, but in any case there are many Discussion Forum posts as well as example programs on reading from Excel.  Do a search on ni.com for "read excel" and you should find a lot of results.
