The LabVIEW "trick" is usually to get the hardware settings correct. Have you tried "Hyperterminal" to talk to the unit. It is possible that the software supplied by the instrument manufacturer uses odd "end of transmission" chars or something like that.

It is a good idea to start a new thread when you have a problem rather than hijacking over a year old. Someone opening this one might never get down to your question.

The command should work. Just make sure that all serial parameters are correct.

Sorry about hijacking this message.  This is the only reference to labview support for Paroscientific transducers I can find on the internet.

For this command, I dont have carriage return or line feed. I can put a screenshot tomorrow.
