where to find DAQmx.vi

Hi,
I just installed Labview 8.2 and am trying to run an old Labview program. But I cannot find DAQmx.vi in the vi library, hence cannot run commands like DAQmx write/read. Can I download it from somewhere? I purchased the software through Penn Stat Univ and downloaded the installer file from ni website so I don't have a CD version of the media kit.

Hi bilayer,

If you are using NI-DAQmx, you will need version 8.3 of the driver, you can download the driver here:

You will find the NI-DAQmx VIs in Functions>Measurement I/O>NI-DAQmx
