wrong exposure order for webcam

Can anyone check the following "feature" with IMAQdx, acquiring image from USB webcam:

Larger exposure values correspond to lower real exposure (darker image).

I am grabbing image in MAX from Logitech C525 webcam, it allows manual control of exposure. When exposure is set to 0.5, it is completely dark. When it is set to minimum value (0.0078125), it is very bright.

All other parameters (brightness, gain, etc) are in manual mode.

Note: With other tools I can acquire image and set exposure from -1 to -7. Internally it converts to exposure time as power of 2 and it is correct (-7 = 1/128s = 0.0078125s is the darkest image). List of values is the same (IMAQdx also sets only list of values 0.5, 0.25, ..), but in LabVIEW this list is reversed.

IMAQdx is 14.5 (old version required for compatibility with LabVIEW 2011)

MAX version 19.5

I do not have other cameras right now to check.

The same happens in LabVIEW.

Latest Logitech drivers.

I've tried with the integrated webcam that is seen by MAX as "USB2.0 VGA UVC WebCam "cam0"".

With 0.5 the image is bright; with 0.0078125 it is very dark.

I have MAX 19.0 and IMAQdx 15.5
