Hello!
I accidentally saved my .vi library without saving my individual .vi's, overwriting them - and now i cannot acces the block diagram!
I have the whole .llb as a precaution copy, but i made some changes to my front panel - can i just relink my "front panel" .vi with the other subvi -s?Or just replace this individual subvi?
regards,
Klemen

Hi klemen,
save the "front panel" vi and all needed subvis into one folder. Then zip all the rest into a safe place. Then open the main vi...
That's maybe not the easiest way, but IMHO the safest.
And please:
Don't use llb in a development environment. Use project-style folders instead! And make backups on a regular interval...

Thank you vrey much for your answer.
I went back to my older .llb and re-did everything I lost; took me about an hour or so (but still wasted time, nevertheless).
I have been using labview on frequent basis for two years now and i am always backing up my work regularly (with more than on copy) - never had any trouble (this was my first somewhat "annoying" problem).
An excellent software, especially when using it with C programming language!!!
Anyway this just shows that no matter how careful you are, you can always make a silly mistake! So think before you act - lesson learned 🙂
Project folders - by that you mean every .vi in its own folder?Do I have to save every .vi or can i do them all at once and then arrange them into seperate folders?
Thank you again,
Regards,
Klemen
