CVI Matrox G400 driver makes boxes size errors and lose buttons

Using the latest Matrox G400 drivers and CVI 6.0, II cannot get reliable operation without turning off the graphic acceleration. The error at its worst is that the open-project dialogue box disappears, or the message will change its size and mask the command buttons. I think I have tried all combinations of the driver options - including the previously discussed Labview question with a similar fault. Attached is a screen dump of trying to install the NI-DAQ documentation.
