Command protected Error

Hi

I am learning  LabWindows.

I am trying to fetch the test result from CMW 500.

However, when i am calling the function to fetch the test result. 

I am getting error message.

Such as  "-203 Command protected, FETC:GSM:MEAS1:MEV:LIST:MOD:BPOW:AVER? "

I am not really sure the casue to return command protected error.

Does anybody know the casue to return the error ?

That looks more like an error raised by the external instrument than like a CVI error.

It appears that you are using some sort of SCPI command to query the instrument: this page can possibly give you an explanation. In any case, you should search for the cause of this error inside interument documentation.
