Conversion of an Instrument Driver from LabWindows/CVI to LabVIEW

hi,

I am using Labview 2012 and NI Labwindows CVI 2013. I am trying to do https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000x25QCAQ&l=en-US, however the CVI 2013 is slightly different and I am struck at the 3rd step described here, since the Create release feature does not exist.

Do anyone have any experience with such issue? I guess it must be something dead easy, yet I'm stuck in there 🙂

Hey Kentmey,

You should be able to click Build > Configuration > Release, which sets the current build mode to be a Release file (as opposed to a debug version). Then if you click Build > Build, it will perform the same action as the "Create Release Dynamic Link Library" setting mentioned in the tutorial.
