Editable Y axes on strip charts ?

Hello all and happy spring to those still in the snow...

Is there a reason why ATTR_ENABLE_EDITABLE_AXES does not apply to the Y axes of strip charts ?

Thanks

Hi gdargaud,

I may be missunderstanding what you are working on, but ATTR_ENABLE_EDITABLE_AXES is not an available control attribute to strip charts, but is avaiable for graphs. Are you customizing a graph to behave like a strip chart and are not seeing an editable y axis?

I am wondering if some other settings are trumping this particular attribute (say autoscaling in y or something).

If you are using a strip chart and seeing the ability to toggle editable axes I would greatly appreciate some more info on the program you are writing.

Hello SerJames,

yes I wanted to use editable axes on strip charts. I don't a difference between the Y axis of a graph and the Y axis of a strip chart, so why is that capability not implemented for strip chart ? Maybe an addition for the future...?

Hi gdargaud,

The Enable Editable Axes functionality is not implemented on strip charts. If you would like to make a product suggestion, we have a LabWindows/CVI Idea Exchange. The developers actively monitor the exchange and regularly implement the suggestions into new versions of software. I have included a link below for your convenience. If you make a suggestion, be sure to post a link to that here so we can give you some Kudos!
