Error while opening TDM file in write mode

I am stuck with a problem where I am not able to open a TDM file in write mode.  There is no problem in reading  a TDM file / Creating a TDM file. Please help.

Is it possible, another application has opened this file in parallel? Or are trying to write to a TDM file located in a DataFinder search area?

Thanks for replying. The file is not opened from any where. I am using CVI 2012 for developement. Can it be because of the use of older version?
