I'm trying to make a hospitalized patient monitorizing aplication with Tektronix TDS1002 and LabwindowsCVI connected via GPIB. The basic task is to measure a continuous signal, specifically a heartbeat signal, and display it over the time. By the time i'm using a slow, square type waveform generated with a signal generator for making my tests
I can adquire and display punctual measurements withouth any problems, as the scope's autoset configures the triggering for having a stable waveform at display. The problem comes when I try to make continuous adquisition and have a long-time recording becomes imposible as normal triggering "fakes" my signal (because it's always stable and centered in screen and consecutive acquisitions doesn't fit), and auto triggering (which puts the scope in Sweeping mode) cuts a portion of the signal which matches up with the portion which is being swept, and gives that portion a concrete value, ruining the acquisition.
Any advice on how can I make continuous acquisition and concatenate it correctly? I'm using TKTDS1K2K driver downloaded from NI Driver zone
