How to identify Lab Windows/CVI Run Time Engine version programmatically?

Is there a way to identify the version of installed Lab Windows/CVI Run time engine through a separate program like searching registry or some other method?

A running CVI program can query the run-time engine version by using GetCVIVersion function. Othervise you can query the version of cvirte.dll, usually located in \windows\system32, unless it is installed elsewere.

Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.
