LaunchExecutableEx returns error -43

I think the status you are getting is -3 and not -43. In the latest version of the CVI Run-Time Engine, GetUILErrorString returns "The operation attempted cannot be performed while a pop-up panel is active" for both -3 and -43.

I normally use to display error messages which include both the error code and its verbose description: now I know why!

I agree with you Roberto. However, this is old application written years ago by someone else. I will make the change now 🙂
