Localizing UI with tabs - assert error

If I call LoadLocalizedPanel in CVI 8.0 to load my panel with native tabs I get the following error:

Assert!

Programming error detected.

The error was detected on line 1643 of 'uiobjects.c'.

Program aborted.

I did use the "User Interface Localizer" tools to create an lwl file, and it seemed to work fine. 

But the plot thickens: When I merely load the TabExample.uir file from ...\cvi80\samples\userint\  into the "User Interface Localizer" tool, I get the same error!

Ian,

This is a known issue in CVI 8.0. Tab controls are not working with the localization tool.

There will be a patch coming out soon that will correct it. I'm sorry about this...

Thanks, Luis. I'll watch for that. 

Fortunately it's not a big issue for me - I can revert to unlocalized operation for the short term.
