I am having an issue with Overlapped Serial I/O on windows 11, the code works fine on windows 10.
I have a pcie 8431/8 with 2 ports configured, 1 for TX, 1 for RX. I am sending at 1250000, 8 data size, no parity, 1 stop bit. I am continually sending a certain number of bytes out of 1 port, and read back in the other port and look at the 1st 6 bytes to verify my data is still correct.
What happens is after a while we start losing data, and my first 3 bytes are not the bytes im looking for.
In windows 10, i can run this for ever, it never breaks, but in windows 11, the same code breaks after anytime from a few minutes, to 3 or 4 hours.
This is serial and not usb serial.
Using labwindows 2020f2 and have tried with NI-Serial 2023Q2 and NI-Serial 2023Q4 which shows to support window 11 and no issues reported.
Anyone else seen issues like this or have suggestions? thanks
