Remote System Connection via cDAQ-9133

Hi all,

I am Jerry Jacob, a technician from the University of Auckland.

Recently, I had a problem with connecting the remote system via cDAQ-9133. I was able to connect the remote system. However, while clicking Devices and Interfaces in Remote Systems, I found the NI-MAX to crash.

Kindly tell me how to resolve this issue.

Regards

Jerry Jacob

Hi Jerry,
Can you try the steps mentioned in the KB link below and see if it resolves your issue?
Usually NI-MAX queries all connected hardware and attempts to link each device with its respective driver when you click the Devices and Interfaces button but probably something on the driver or network must have caused the issue.

I have checked the Event Viewer. I found NIPALK and found this

[nipalk] Notice: ZwLoadDriver(niimaqk) failed at least once:
iteration #0 status: c0000034

But I am not sure about what driver should I reinstall.

Hi Jerry,
In that case, try to repair the drivers and NI-MAX
Also, if your NI-MAX is slightly older version, try to upgrade to newer version.
Was there any recent changes occured to the system?

As per the NI Package Manager, I am not sure what should I actually repair. Is it NI-MAX only or something else?

You can try to select all the options in NI Package Manager and repair them.
Just that it will take a long time for the repair process. NI-MAX also will be included in the repair.
