Sounds similar to this post. Try installing the software as admin.

Hope this helps

Hi, abui,

Can you tell me a little more about the error you're seeing? Where in the installation process does it appear and what does it say?

The error occurs after we install the distribution files on a new machine and then try to run.  No error is generated when we run the distribution setup file.  Its only after the installation when we try to execute the program that this error is generated.

The error does not occur on the original development machine that has the full labwindows install.

Hello abui,

I believe that this issue is not related to the distribution/build process, but rather due to differences in the system you are developing on, and the system you are deploying to.

Other than the admin settings, the post Bilal directed you has other information about some versioning and Windows.  Have you examined this as a possibility?  What are the differences between the development system and the system you are deploying to?  Also, you can probably search for the exact source file which is making the call to “RtlIpv4StringToAddressW” and debug from that side of things.

Hope this helps -
