Hi,
If I try to edit or create a new distribution setup file in CVI 2012 it throws the followin errors:
First time on clicking edit button...
"A custom control callback raised an exception." On clicking OK...
CVI continues to respond, but busy cursor doesnot go away...
Again clicking on edit button...
"Panel, menu bar, or control array handle is invalid"
"Failed to initialize distribution support library. A file or registry key may be missing."
Before I used to use CVI2010 and I had the same problem (except CVI used to hang after giving error message). I donot remember, but I think I had this issue right from the beginning.
I thought installing CVI2012 (after uninstalling CVI2010) will get rid of this issue as this will install all necessary files. But I still have same issue.
The system is Win7 64bit, and CVI version is 12.0.0(422).
Would be glad if somebody could give me hint on how to go about resolving this issue.
Thanks & Regards

Did you ever find the problem? I have the same issue with CVI 2015 SP1 on Windows 10 x64. Any idea what the registry keys associated with CVI distribution kit are located?
