side by side assemblies

Has anyone ever done a "side by side assembly" using CVI (if that's even possible)? 

It might be that it's an absurd question - it could be that Microsoft side-by-side assemblies are a deployment (or to use Microsoft's term "publishing") issue that is beyond what  CVI provides.

CVI does not have anything built in to create side-by-side assemblies.  This does not prevent a user from doing it on his own though - see this documentation and its links for more information: Guidelines for Creating Side-by-side Assemblies
