toolbar graphics have 1 pixel of dead-space on borders

Hey guys,
I've been noticing that toolbar graphics have a 1 pixel border that is 'dead'.  Positioning the cursor over this 'dead' zone generates mouse focus, but it does not allow the item to respond to click events.  The click event is not 'armed' until the cursor is moved 1 more pixel toward the interior of the graphic.  Menu item graphics do not exhibit this dead zone.  This toolbar issue does not follow any typical Windows behavior that I have ever consciously noticed.  The CVI IDE toolbar graphics are a great example.  Somewhat annoying...

Hello cosmo,

Thank you for mentioning this behavior.  I was able to reproduce it using the tooldemo shipping example and will forward this information on to the CVI R&D team for further investigation.

Thanks again!

Hi Cosmo,

FYI: I just wanted to close the loop and let you know that this CAR was fixed in LabWindows/CVI 8.1.  Thanks for making the product that much better!

Thanks
