1074397150 Imaq snap.vi wait timed out - acquisition not complete

Hi,

I am using PCI-1409 as my frame grabber and Sony XC55 as my camera system.

When I try to acquire image using MAX or Sony xc-55(1409).vi available in NIs website here I get an error 1074397150 Imaq snap.vi wait timed out - acquisition not complete. I did try the solution given in here, but still i am getting the same error. What could be my other sources of error in my case?

Can any one help me?

The 1409 is obsolete now, so support is limited, but there are a few things you can check.  Is the camera or framegrabber waiting for a trigger? If they are and a trigger is not received, the vi will give a timeout error.  Can you acquire images using the camera's software?

Yes, I am able to acquire an image using the vi in the link available in NI website (. http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/4326).

It is possible that MAX is waiting for a trigger, but how do i set for an internal trigger to camera via MAX? In the VI, there is an option to set internal trigger and I do that to acquire image.

This product is obsolete, but I was able to find the user manual. You may be able to use the camera control lines to trigger the camera.  You should be able to use MAX to route one of the CC lines to a pin on the RTSI connector. I do not have access to obsolete hardware, so I cannot verify this.
