Camera has been removed (Error-1074360308 at IMAQdx Get Image2.vi)

Do you get same error when camera directly connected to PC instead of via switch?
-Check by connecting directly to PC.
-Does it happen to all cameras and all ports at same interval?
-Did you check with different PC(if available!)
Thanks

I noticed also that in NI MAX some cameras dissapear for some time, then appear again and so forth.

I believe any example cannot resolve this problem. It seems that it's caused by system problem.

When you connect only one camera, same behavior can be seen?

When only one camera is connected and all others are physically disconnected from the system it was possible to make up to 1000 photos and save them without any problems.

I guess this is caused by speed limitation of Jumbo Frame.

My assumption is below.

When transferred data exceed Jumbo Frame ability, general data communication between PC and camera is lost.

As a result, NI MAX lost the camera and LabVIEW VI returned an error.

Have you already calculated size and speed of data frame?

Does it exceed the limitation?

Unfortunately I can't connect a camera directly to PC as the switch supplies power over ethernet.

When the error occurs not all cameras dissappear from NI MAX only 5-6 of them

I didn't check with another PC, don't have one right now

I'll try to calculate the size and speed of data frame. Can't test it right now as i have completely reinstalled LabView and drivers, hoping that it could be a software problem.

But it caused a new issue, now all cameras give error "The DLL could not be found" (s. scrnsht11). I'll try to resolve this problem and then test your suggestion.

-Cameras can be powered with external supply, or external PoE adapters and connect directly to PC.

-Please check the specifications of the switch whether it is able to supply to the requirements.

-The 5-6 cameras disconnecting are same every time or random?

-When you get error, do cameras still show in Device Manager(to switch?)

-If Cameras have power led indication, check when the error shown they're still powered on or not.

-I believe the power is not sufficient/switch is not giving enough power(Just like PC has power management and switch off USB Supply sometimes) and PC is unable to detect the cameras.

Thanks

DLL error could be because of corrupt installation, try re-installing Vision Module.

I have an external PoE adapter can try with it after my DLL problem is resolved. But with only one camera connected there are no issues even with the switch.

I checked the data sheets of cameras and switch and the switch should be able to supply enough power for all cameras. I found also in the switch settings the power consumption statistics (s. scrnsht 12 and 13). It is really moderate compared to the available power. But this is power consumption during stand by. Will also check it during acquisition.

Those 5-6 cameras, when all 15 are connected are always the same (even when connected to different ports in switch). But there are not the same cameras that gives error when I connect them one after another.

Device Manager still see all cameras, even when they are not shown in NI MAX

When the error occurs LED indicators in "defect" cameras (as in all other cameras) stay on.

Find any solution to this problem?  I have the same thing happening (GIGE Camera disconnects after a number of frames) either from code (using any of the imaqdx vis that collect images (snap, grab, one shot, continous, etc) of Ni MAX.

3rd party software packages appear to work fine with the camera, only NI apps have this problem.
