Error Prompt when generating Technical Service Report

This is a minor curiosity/annoyance rather than a problem I need solved.

 

I have been collecting MAX Technical Service Reports from several testers to send to an AE.  I noticed that if there are any frame grabbers connected to a tester when I generate the TSR, the error prompt below appears for each frame grabber.

This happens across several types of frame grabber and several versions of vision software.  The error prompt doesn't appear to affect anything (if a test is running, it is not interrupted; the TSR still contains information about the frame grabber) except that all the cameras get red X's in MAX.

If you restart MAX, the red X's go away.

Hello,

 

Yes, unfortunately this is a known issue with Vision Acquisition Software. It's tracked internally by issue 600049. Since the technical report generation succeeds, it's not currently at the top of the priority list for upcoming bug fixes. If it becomes something more than a minor curiosity/annoyance for you or for others, please let us know so we can reclassify it. Otherwise, I'll try to post back here to close the loop once we have a release with a fix.
