Hello!

I'm using AVT drivers, Ihave changed registry For NI-IMAQ for IEEE 1394 2.0.x

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\imaq1394k\Parameters
AsyncTransferDelay = 0

When I changed this parameter speed is lower, but image is not OK.

Best regards!

DAnilo

DAnilo,

I'm not sure what you are asking for. IMAQdx puts an artificial delay (5 millsec by default) in between 1394 register accesses to try to work around cameras that have problems if you write things "too fast." This is a bug in the camera because it the camera that tells us when a register operation completes and we wait for this to happen before going on to the next operation. The DCAM/IIDC specification that IMAQdx adheres to doesn't specify any notion of minimum delays between register operations because of this.

You removed the artificial delay and the camera started misbehaving. The only options would be to switch cameras to one that doesn't have this issue or put the delay back in.

Hi Veriatas

Could you be more specific which driver you have downloaded and what do you mean by "doesn't seem to work on a 64-bit system"? Do you see errors?

Could you also open a new thread with your question?

Thanks,

Barna D.
