IC-312x Windows vs. Linux RT

Solved!
Go to solution

We know that the CVS-1458RT is the same hardware as the IC-3120.

However, the CVS-1458 (Windows version) shows 32 GB of storage while the Windows version of the IC-3120 shows the same storage size as the Linux RT version (2 GB). Is that correct?

The difference in cost between the IC-3120 Linux RT and Windows version suggest that there is some more hardware capability on the Windows version, and the additional 30 GB could almost explain that.

Hey Dan,

I hope you are doing well. Thanks for pointing this out - this is mistake in the documentation for the IC-312x. The WES7 version of this controller has a 32GB SSD as well. I will have this information updated online. The difference in cost is due to both the increased storage size and cost of the Windows license.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks,

Kevin K.

I figured that was the case. It needs to be corrected in the online catalog as well as the specification sheet.

Thanks!
