I've finally managed to communicate with the camera using Labview.
Here what I 've done (in case someone else encounter the same problem) :
1- Run CameraValidator.exe/ATTRIBUTE which is in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\NI-IMAQdx\Utility
2- Check which attributes give you errors in the report which is saved in :
C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\NI-IMAQdx\Compatibility Reports
3- Comment these attributes in the xml file which is in :
C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\NI-IMAQdx\Data\XML
It worked for me, I can now do all the basic things with the camera. However I might encounter some problems in the future as I didn't fix the problems but hide them !

hi!
I am trying to install a JAI USB3 Vision camera EL-2800M-USB, but I ran into the same situation about the attributes.
I tried your procedure, but no report is generated after I run the camera validator.
DO you think there might be something that I am missing?
THanks

Do you run the camera validator using the DOS command prompt ?
Be sure :
- to be in the right directory : C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\NI-IMAQdx\Utility
- and use caps letter : CameraValidator.exe/ATTRIBUTE
Maybe your report is saved somewhere else check for a file named Compatibility Reports in C:\
Good luck !
Cheers,
Violaine.

Update: I have spoken to JAI and they have found the issue and are in the process of fixing it. They believe there is some confusion between the 2400 and the 5100 in the xml file which is causing the problem. Below is the response from JAI which they sent on 16th June 2017. I'll report here when I have a further response from them.
'Hello Jim,
Finally we found this is a known issue, and will be fixed in next version.
But we will release it together with other issues, so we kindly ask for your patient.
I think we could release it in this month.
Then you may ask Ole for a remote session about how to update by teamviewer.
Best regards
Den'

Hi guys!
I was able to communicate a JAI EL-2800M-USB camera to LabView using NI-IMAQdx.
I am not a professional coder or anything, but here are the steps I followed to make this happen. I have not retried because I do not want to mess it up now that it is working.
1. Make sure that the software are installed, i.e., Labview, NI Vision Acquisition Software (VAS), and JAI SDK Control Tool. NI USB3 Vision driver comes with NI VAS. If your system do not detect the camera later try reinstalling. If persistent the camera might not be compatible. There is a NI tutorial about this troubleshooting elsewhere.
2. Power and connect the camera to the computer.
3. Open the JAI SDK Control Tool and install the driver of the camera. At this point you should be able to use it from this software. Then, I clicked on a couple of options that said "Update" (sorry for not being any clearer).
4. Close the camera, close the software, and disconnect the camera from the PC. Then, I reconnected again.
5. I went to the Device Manager and found the camera (towards the bottom under USB devices) and I uninstalled it CHECKING THE BOX of uninstalling the driver.
6. Then, I scanned for changes in hardware in the same Device Manager window. After some seconds, the device appears under NI VAS devices as an USB3 Vision hardware.
7. I went to <Root>:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\NI-IMAQdx\Data and \Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\NI-IMAQdx\Data\XML and deleted the files with names such as "Jai coorporation...." or "camX"
8. In Start Menu I opened "Run" and I put "C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\NI-IMAQdx\Utility\CameraValidator.exe"/ATTRIBUTE (This might vary depending on your installation settings.
9. The report took about a minute, then I went to C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\NI-IMAQdx\Compatibility Reports and everything in the report said "Passed". After that I was able to use the camera from NIMAX and LabView.
I am sorry for not being clearer. This was a trial and error procedure. I hope this helps anyone trying to control a JAI USB3 Vision camera from LabView.

I´ve commented the errors that i got, but i´m not pretty sure if it was the correct procedure because im still not able to run my webcam because the same message keeps saying the same warning. I hope that there is something that could be done..I would really appreciate if anyone know something about it

Don't piggy back on old messages. The one you posted on has been solved for several years, so it is less likely to be looked at. It also has nothing to do with your issue. You should start a new message.
That said, it looks like your camera has an error the first time it tries to take an image after changing the mode, but works after that. Try turning on "ignore first image" and everything should be fine.
