Hello,
Is there any loadmap for IMAQ for MacOS?
I am running the lab mostly MacOS based (with small numbers of linux).
Sometimes, I face to dillema weather set up a dedicate Windows machine only for acquire Genicam data, or somehow 'stream' it internally with 3rd party tools.
IMAQ seems really convenient and I heard that it was developed in OS X first.
Is there any loadmap for IMAQ for MacOS?
-If yes, I will wait and see.
-If not, I have to elaborate and use time to stabilize the 'frankenstein' style acquisition setting.

iPsych,
There is currently no support for IMAQ on MacOS.
Here is a link to the compatibility of different versions of the IMAQ driver on different versions of Windows, and this will show you what combinations of driver and OS are supported: https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/compatibility/21/ni-hardware-and-operating-system-compat....

I understand.
The information I need is your 'plan'.
As I mentioned, I have to make decision based on that whether keep MacOS based one alive, or completely move to Windows.

Hi iPsych,
I'm the product manager for Vision at National Instruments.
We do not have MacOS support on the roadmap for our Vision Aquisition Software (NI-IMAQ, NI-IMAQ I/O, or NI-IMAQdx). If you would like to discuss your use case further I'll send you my email so we can set up a conference call.
Have a great day!
