Hi!
I have Thorlab camera (UC480) and relevant drivers installed so I can use some special functions from "Instrument I/O" module. But I need to work with video and make the program, that will detect objects from it (machine vision). I'm looking for some examples and will be glad if you share some ideas about how to do it or where to find information/example programs. I know about Vision Assistant and Vision Acquisition Software(VAS), but unfortunately, I have no licence for this module. The problem is that I have found many tutorials, but all of them use VAS or Vision Development module, but I'm not available to use them.
Therefore, If you have worked with Thorlabs cameras in Labview, I need advice

Hello Anich
All the LV object detection examples require VAS and VDM. We cannot develop machine vision applications in LabVIEW without VDM and VAS is mandatory for acquisition.
Contact NI for licensing. It is definitely worth buying a license for VDM, you will get VAS and Vision assistant along with it.
