Hello,
I would like to use my camera MC1362 (Mikrotron) with the frame grabber PCIe-1433. But this camera is not yet suported by NI, so I don't have any camera file for this camera. I tried to use the one done for the MC1310 (I have seen people on this forum who had used it with the frame grabber PCIe-1429 with success), but it didn't work too. I tried then to make a camera file with the camera file generator provided by NI, it didn't work too (no error message, but no image also!).
does anybody have successfully made a camera file for this camera and this frame grabber? Is it possible to obtain one from NI engineers, please?
Thank you in advance,
Bests

I just put a new Camera File Generator on the FTP site, which fixes some issues earlier versions had with the 1433. I would try this again to see if this works any better.

If this doesn't work, we could help you develop a camera file. If you could provide your contact at Mikrotron, I could try to get a loaner camera to develop the camera file for it.
Thanks,
Brad

Hi Brad,
thank you very much for your quick answer. I already tried this camera file generator this afternoon, without any success, unfortunately. I have the mail of technical support from the dealer of this camera in The Netherlands: support@datvision.com
I don't know if they really can help with that...
Thank you very much anyway!

I contacted support for Mikrotron and it didn't sound like they could provide a camera very quickly and they could let us have it for very long. Would it be an option to send you camera here? Or you could provide your contact info to vbai.support@gmail.com and I can contact you to try configuring NI Camera File Generator to acquire images.
Hope this helps,
Brad

Hi Brad,
I am in contact with someone from Data Vision, the dealer of Mikrotron in the Netherlands. He told me that NI had requested a camera for 4 weeks, and also I should be able to make a camera file myself (So, it is not a priority...).
I can try next week to make a camera file with your help. I sent you my contact info by the email adress you gave me. How long would you need my camera if I sent you it?
Thank you for your help,
Bests,
David

Hi
I am just setting up to do the same - imaging with a Mikrotron MC1362 and a PCIe-1433 framegrabber. Did anyone have any success making a working camera file that I could use?
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,
I can send you the camera file I use monday. It is not complete, but it helps to make it work. Be carefull with the number of taps selected, the camera file generator does not support 10 taps 8 bits. Brad send me an update for the camera file generator.
Send me your email, I will send it the files.

David
