Is it possible to install VBAI 2009 SP1 on a host PC without either breaking the VBAI 3.6 installation and/or the ability to connect/configure remote targets running 3.6? (I have several CVS units that are running 3.6, which I still need to be able to connect to.)
Thanks,
Mike

VBAI supports side by side installation, so you can have VBAI 3.6, VBAI 2009, and VBAI 2009 SP1 all installed on you host PC. You can only have 1 version of VBAI on a target, and you have to use the matching version of VBAI on your host to communicate with it.
Also be careful because you can open older inspections with newer VBAI versions, but you cannot save for previous. So if you save an inspection with VBAI 2009 SP1, you will not be able to open it with earlier versions of VBAI.
Hope this helps,
Brad
