gige adapter driver 82567lm

Hi,

I have a problem with gigabit cameras (Dalsa genie and Basler) and the ethernet card. The PC has a Intel 82567LM-3 ethernet controller. I have installed the latest drivers and enabled jumbo frames at 9014. However packets cannot be transferred. I therefore tried to install the NI adapter (usual procedure needed for Intel 100/1000x controller) but the driver is not compatible and the card cannot start (code 10). I have tried several version of Labview (from 9.0 to 12) with no success. I have found an old post about the same problem but cannot find a solution. Can you please help?

Hi MicZag,

I recommend first uninstalling the drivers that you've previously installed and starting afresh. Here's a link for the 2012 drivers, as you've said you have access to LabVIEW 2012, this would be the best version to go with.

It seems that when packets cannot be transferred, there's potentially a firewall blocking your device from communicating. Perhaps if you disable your firewall, that would allow the packets to reach their destination. You can disable your Windows firewall by going to Control Panel.
