hamamatsu c9100-02

Hello,

I want to set camera attributes programmatically, but first I should add them in file *.icd. How could I do it, when the camera file <mycamera>.txt - hamamatsu C9100-02 - is not available?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Hi Nosai and welcome to the forums 🙂

you can try using the Camer File Generator to generate your camera file.

Also, could you please specify, what type of framegrabber you are using?

Best regards,

Hi 🙂

I have already generated the *.icd file. In NI-IMAQ HELP there is: "You also can set them in MAX. Information about specific attributes for some cameras is contained in a camera attribute file <my camera>.txt, which is in the <NI-IMAQ>/Camera Info directory, where <NI-IMAQ> is the location to which NI-IMAQ is installed." And also: "Camera attribute files are not available for every camera." So the problem is how to add attributes to *.icd file, while there is no such a file - because  "The spelling and syntax of the Attribute Name and string values must match the camera attribute file exactly.". We use NI PCIe-1433.

Best regards;)

Hi Nosai,

are you able to set up the attributes for the camera in MAX?

Also, please could you specify the specific camera attributes? It is possible, that you won't be able to set them up from the *.icd file from my understanding.

Best regards,
Jano
