two cameras wiht a same name in Vision Builder AI

Hi everybody,

how can i two cameras whit a same name in Vision Builder AI identify like device 1 and device 2?
my problem is that i connect the two cameras but the VBAI identifies only one

Hi Jois

 

 

Check that both cameras are  detected :

 

 

1 -  in the Device Manager

2 -  in MAX

Well this link only says that you can only work with 1 picture at a time, it does not say you cannot configure and snap pictures from 2 cameras.

thanks for your reply
in MAX there is only one camera und  i have two USB ports and both normally work, but i can only one USB port use

i connect the camera in the other and don´t works . Maybe i muss configure the other port ?

Maybe you shoud try to use a usb hub if you have only 1 good usb port.

From your posts in a bunch of other threads, it sounds like you are using IDS uEye cameras. Their DirectShow drivers show by default a single (virtual) device regardless of how many cameras (even 0) you have connected. You'd have to consult with them as to how to get their drivers to add more than one DirectShow interface.
